Feeding Monty the other day and he zapped a roach and a newly moulted mealworm in the same 'shot'! Then he caught sight of the cat and froze with the mealie hanging out of one side of his mouth and the roach out the other! The poor roach's antenna were still moving too! :D He sat thre for a few minutes with the food hanging out of his mouth, bless him!

When he finally finished his mouthful, he licked his lips clean! :D

Nice shot! I'm learning to keep my camera right next to Zaphod's enclosure!!! Never know what they will do next!;)

That made me LOL. Today mine got a cricket, chewed twice then stopped... all while sitting down as if he was just relaxing with a cricket sticking out of his mouth (oh and one arm up too). It was too cute. I wish I had my NEX5 ready for that. :)

Haha I love it when they do that I had one get 3 crickets the other day but never 2 different types of bug. GO MONTY!!

That's awesome.

Here is a bad cell phone pic of Bonnie catching one butterworm while another is attached with some silk...

Clearly your Monty pics are better. But mine looks like she is playing with a yo-yo. Hehe

Awesome shot. I agree with everyone. i am learning to get ready before I even go in. Yesterday King and I went outside for our sunshine and instead of crawling up on his wood he decided to stick to the front of my shirt while I stroked his veil, ( he still had some itchy shed) He proceeded to lay sideways and close his eyes. When I stopped he puffed up till I started again. Does anyone else have a cham that likes to be pet??

Smeagol likes to have his chin and tummy rubbed :D
When I start, he opens his mouth like he is going to protest and hiss, then closes his mouth and eyes untill I stop. Then he gives me the stink eye
Like, why are you touching me!!??...oh, okay...hey! why did you stop:p

I guess I should just leave my camera where the chams are too, only it's an expensive DSLR and rather big and heavy.
I need to get something simple, but takes good pics!

The camera in my iphone4 is much better then I expected, but I that needs to go where I do :)

I have missed sooooo many great shots by not having the cam handy

Love the pics of both Monty and Bonnie! Kosby (7 month Ambi) has started cup feeding, and is close to hand feeding. However he will shoot a cricket or superworm then hold it in his mouth looking at me like he's afraid I'm going to try to take it back. I'm trying to "train" him that he doesn't get another bug from the cup until he's chewed and swallowed the first one :D

My male veiled loves to be pet under the chin and on his chest. He'll lift his chin much like a cat - and I swear sometimes it sounds like he's purring, he loves it so much!! Chameleons are the cutest! My friends think I'm crazy when I tell them my chams are cuddly! lol

Monty is adorable - the bug pic is cool - lucky you had your camera at the ready!!
