I try not to handle him too much, but i have to move him to put the crickets in the cage sometimes, also he is in my room and i open and close my door to come and go, but other than door closing noise thats about it.

Well veileds can't hear but they can sense vibrations. Have you changed anything recently? Like maybe the lights, temperature, cage decor, schedule?

How long have you had him?

and he doesnt look stressed so much as he looks like hes basking.
they turn brownish colored when basking.

i haunt really changed anything in his cage, and i feed him with in the same 1-2 hours everyday. I may have shifted the light, but he stays brown like that almost all the time not just in the light,

Its ok.

he still looks like hes basking.

Are you sure of his basking temps?

Are you sure he is a veiled? If mine were not well they turned rather grey. This brown looks very new to me.

he was green when i picked him up at the shop, but he had been in that cage at the shop with others babies since birth, i took him out of the cage and showed him to my mom when she came down, he instantly turned green, and rolled up his tail, I'm not 100% of the basking temp, is there a good way to tell, cuz i just stuck an everyday thermometer under the light about 6-7 inches away and it would read 85-90.

Is there a better way to tell temp?
Also he chills on the screen a lot instead of branches, is this a problem?

how big are the branches? if they are too big for his feet, might be why.

but some just like the screen. thety are babies, and chams, they do odd things.

and get a digitial thermoter.

90 is way to hott for a baby his age.
