2 new additions

So i am getting 2 new additions on Monday and I am supper excited I have never wanted a Monday to come so fast well here they are

Beautiful harlequin crested gecko with a perfect tail.

I'm sure you know already maybe you even have had a crested gecko but I just wanted to say be mindful of there tail's if they are startled they are bad about dropping them for no reason and they never grow back

So I am happy to say my 2 new additions are settling in nicely I am so happy with them they are super entertaining jumping around like little frogs

They are so beautiful! I've been building a vivid for months and I really can't Decide what type of critters I want but crested geckos were pretty high on the list!

The main concern I have is drowning, because of the waterfall and water feature. That's why I was thinking something like dendros. Would cresties or day geckos be at risk of drowning? It's still a work in progress, but the left side has a waterfall and 4" of water that will eventually have small fish.

Ya they would I would also vote water dragon but they do get big

I will definitely look into water dragons! The tank is a 55 gallon long, would a dragon outgrow that? I know nothing about them, but I'll do some research.

It looks like the dragons would outgrow the tank really fast! And they are aboreal, I need a small reptile or amphibian that stays fairly small and is safe with the water...

Yea it definitely will out grow it so a gang of frogs would be kinda cool and also kinda a wast of a pretty sweet enclosure

Skink's or salamanders are always an option also kinda a waste of a nice enclosure

The tank has just been a side project to keep my hands busy. I had the tank for ages, and I invested maybe a hundred bucks in egg crate, expanding foam, silicone, tubing and paint. The plan for it is actually to heavily plant it, so the plants will be more the star of the show so to speak.
@Hollywhyte sorry for hijacking your thread. The cresties are absolutely beautiful!
