Hey Guys,

I have made a mesh cage out of pvc pipe and can not find a stand that is big enough to safe my life. The cage base is 2 feet by 2 feet and every cabinet with a door i have found is not deep enough. I want to sit my cage on the cabinet and have my drain bucket under cabinet behind a door. I know the cage size is pretty normal will yall please share your setups or where you found a reasonably priced cabinet big enough.

Thank You

Katie,

I've got an old side table under mine, but it was the luck of the draw. Had it for quite a while and works for now. I am able to put the 2, 5 gal. buckets ( water feed and waste) under the table and is not too garish. You might go to HD and look around for a "bathroom sink cabinet." Otherwise, you might look into building something. Not terribly complex being 2X2 and you have the authority as to how it is finished.

If you don't mind a couple of inches of overhang on the front and/or back, you can check ikea for kitchen cabinets if you have one near you. They have 20" deep cabinets. I bought one for $10 in their clearance section, bought matching doors for $20, and a piece of MDF board that I painted and sealed and attached to the top for $10 from Home Depot.

I had the same issue in finding an appropriate sized base for my 2x2x4 cage. I went to a couple of salvation armies or thrift furniture stores. Got a cube table that was perfect size for $7. Works perfect.

The cabinet I used to build my cage on was bought at Lowe's for 100, it fits 2 5 gallon buckets under it and a mist king system and fogger, and a drain tail pipe, 24" x24" is its dimension
