I notices for the past few weeks my blue bar wont eat crickets. only mealworms and wax worms. hes 26 months old wondering whats going on? hes drinking and everything else fine just not eating the crickets.
Sometimes they will get board or an insect if it's fed too much. I'm no expert but I also heard a few people say they will get addicted to things like mealworms etc the stuff that generally isn't good for them lol
Try to see if he will eat superworms instead of the mealworms and silkworms instead of the waxworms. the supers have less chitin and the silks have more calcium and less fat. you can even feed the supers when they are white right after molting for even less shell content. you could try mantis, roaches, or locusts as a cricket replacement until he comes back around. side note: maybe try some moths or butterflies to reinvigerate him. at two years, he may just be bored and kinda just following a routine life. just tired of the same old same old everyday.
