I have a female veiled chameleon that is about 1 year and 3 months old. She has laid eggs twice before already, 61 eggs and then 57. We tried feeding her less/less frequently the way this website: http://raisingkittytheveiledchameleon.blogspot.com/2007/12/keeping-female-veiled.html suggested. I think she is receptive now, as her colors are bright and she has more orange spots and turquoise/blue patches. She also is less shy and comes up to the door of the cage more often, but I'm not sure if that is just to be fed. She roams her cage a lot too. So if she is receptive now, should I start feeding her more so that she is fit for egg laying or would that make her lay more eggs (which obviously isn't too good considering her previous clutches)?
Thank you for all your help!
Oh, btw: she is super healthy, never had any problems, and has an absolutely huge cage with regular water misting and I already put an adequate sized sand box in the bottom of her cage...
