I really can't tell what it is...I was hoping it's a frog, but frogs don't have tails! Can anyone tell? If this is a Jackson I'm seriously going to delete this moron. Looks like they either blew it up, or smashed it, or ran over it or something

You're on a chameleon forum , that is not a chameleon Either way its digusting Jackson or not. Which its not, no animal deserves to be treated like that what ever species it is.

thats horrible!! i was just reading an article the other that that i couldnt finish because i almost got sick..a couple kids were playing with firecrackers, found a stray, friendly, German Shepard, put the firecrackers in his mouth, duct taped his mouth shut, and lit them...when authorities found the dog, he had no bottom jaw and one eye...they had to euthenize him. and the kids, because they were under 18, were not charged..they were in their teens, not like they were babies..

I thought it was still alive cause it was standing... up right and moving. I looked real good and saw maggots coming out of it. One even came out its mouth. If you look at the picture good. You'll see it coming out its stomach and there's one in it's mouth. Sick sick sick. It does look a lil like Kermit ah?"

If it was standing and moving, it probably was still alive and had severe wounds that flies decided to inhabit because of the stench (infection, most likely.) That's sad.

That said, taking pictures of dead things, in my opinion, isn't a big deal. It's life. Some people pick uP road kill and bring it home for their dogs.

taking pictures isn't my issue my guess is someone killed that lizard he didn't just chop up his own feet and tail and hide in a cupboard. predator maybe? but I'm doubting that, either way its not a chameleon.

That isnt a jackson.. It looks like a small cuban knight anole, or some similar anole.
That is disgusting.. Sad thing is, you could use this as evidnce and press animal cruelty charges but nothing would happen cause its not a dog or cat or other "cute" animal that was hurt.

I really hope it wasn't a Jackson...thing looks too big to be an anole but I could be wrong. And good point about how it could be standing and moving but not be a live ?? But yeah, if you look closely, there's large maggots coming out of the mouth and abdomen.
