A little nervous

So I am taking Fire to the vet today. He has been sleeping during periods of the day when he should be up. He eats,drinks,poops, and is growing like a weed. However it was suggested that I take him to the vet to get him checked in case parasites may be zapping his energy and this is why he's sleeping. Wich is not a bad idea anyway since I haven't taken him since I got him 5 months ago. Anyway if any of you have read any of my previous posts you would know that Fire does not like to be touched. He will hand feed and come out and free range. But he does not want to be touched. He will be touched today and he will have to brave the current snow storm we are having. I just hope it's not all to much for him.

So we made it through the snow and cold and got what I guess is a clean bill of health. The vet said Fire looked extremely healthy and was a very handsome guy. He weighed in 136 grams. However he did tell me that he has small amounts of isospora SPP. He did say it was a parasite but that it was nothing to worry about. I did post some questions in the health clinc section so hopefully someone with some knowledge on this will respond.
