A Second Attempt

Today, this awesome fellow came home with us! He looks a little on the skinny side and a bit dehydrated, but upon being put into his freshly cleaned enclosure, he immediately had a nice long drink then took a fifteen minute shower under the drip, letting the water hit his cheek and soak him real good. Tomorrow will be his first feeding of dusted crickets! Now...for a name. I'm almost settled on Tychus.

He doesn't look good. Those eyes are very sunk in, might be something more going on like parasites.

Combine that with them being closed with lights on, that’s more than enough justification for concern.

Where did you get this chameleon? They clearly sold you a sick chameleon and you should go get your money back. This had nothing to do with your care if you just purchased him.

I am so sorry you have had such horrible experiences with your chameleons. It’s very important to get your chameleon for a VERY reliable source. I would recommend a small time breeder here on the forums. I’m always happy to make suggestions. I’ve been around awhile and seen allot.
