Acanthosaura Capra, funky eating and broken arm

I’ve got a juvenile male Mountain Horned Dragon, Acanthosaura Capra, who came in with a broken arm and eats a little odd. Ive been attempting to set up a vet appointment for the little guy for his arm, but his eating and drinking seem off. He refuses any cricket or chopped up worm until i dangle it in his face, and then even when he bites it he’ll sit with it in his mouth for up to ten minutes before eating it. As for water, he only notices running streams of water and will dunk his head beneath it, but sometimes he’ll choose to ignore them completely and drink no water. He does have a bowl to soak in, but ive never seen him use it. Aside from that, he’s quick and alert and fiesty, so im just wondering what i can do for the lil guy. Thank you!
Ive attatched some photos of him, his arm, and his enclosure.

Thank you! I havent tried the bubbler yet, i’ll pick one up tomorrow! As for his arm i’ve been trying to find a vet to see him and theyve all said the best they can do is guess. At most i know its a humeral fracture and a splint would make it worse :/

I’ve had chameleons lose an arm in a door accident (not mine…I was often asked to take ones the store couldn’t sell because they were “damaged”) and they did fine…they can compensate just like other animals do.

So sorry to hear this poor guy. I read a thread on here about a vet assistant trying to rehad. A cham with mbd used straws slit down the middle of one side as a make shift splint. However without an xray to know just what you are dealing with, i wouldnt recommend that also the initial break has already started healing. You need to keep him as calm as possible so he doesnt hurt it worse. If you can get him to eat while healing he definetly has a shot! sending prayers your way!

he's been eating anywhere from 1-10 crickets a day depending on his mood, and around three portions of chopped superworms as well. I got him a bubbler and the first thing he did was investigate it so hopefully he'll start drinking from it.
