History - My Chams name is Mr. Miyagi. He was a friend of mines who had to move away. He has been a great Cham his who life up untill now. For the last month he has been super active during the day crawling from branch to branch up and down the screen wall. Ive been told its bad if he touches the ground. He doesn't sit on the ground but hell crawl across the ground to get to a certain branch. Is all this behavior ok? I don't understand. He sleeps fine threw the night. Someone have any ideas????

He is still climbing all over the place. He has a huge cage a climbs all over the screen near the bottom of the cage. And this only happens during the day. Could having it by the window have anything to do with this?

Its okay for him to visit the ground as long as he isn't constantly down there. They like to patrol the territory. If he's climbing on the screen and you're worried about his nails or something, a few extra perches and braches may help to reduce the screen climbing. Lining the inside of the cage with plastic green fencing (kind of like plastic chicken wire) while also help.
