Advice on cleaning a used cage

I am borrowing my sisters cage she had for her veiled to use for my panther since he has outgrown his current enclosure. Her veiled passed away (nothing contagious) but I still want to clean it well. I don't want to use anything to harsh. I was thinking a mild, organic baby wash diluted and also warm water? Any opinions on this?

10 to 1 bleach water mix! Rinse good with water after scrubbing down! 10 parts water 1 part bleach, rubber gloves & safety goggles!

Distilled vinegar works wonders for cleaning also.

@Blang thats what I do, let it dry in the sun awhile after a good rinse and it won't smell like bleach when your done either.

I decided on a the simple truth brand dish soap that is pure and free. Washed it in my tub and rinsed it well and dryed it. Looked brand new and left zero residue and absolutely no smell.
