Can anyone guess the age of my Veiled...
pics aren't that great, he doesn't like to be bothered and was trying to bask.
I've had him for about a month and got him from a local pet shop.
Thanks for looking.

Him Basking.

he appears to be between 4 and 7 months old. i could narrrow that down more, but would like to see him on your arm, or near something that I can compare his size with.
I have a 7 month old male veieled, and from nose to vent, he is roughly 5-6 inches long. (no tail).
If you could get a better picture of him that would be great.
Also, how hot are his basking temps? and how much are you feeding him. While thye iwl sometimes suck in their bodies and it makes them appera smaller, its possible he needs some more food.

i feed him approx 10-12 crickets a day and 5 mealworms a week.
as for basking temps, i had another thread about that because i felt they were too low, they were about 83, but im currently trying to get that higher as well as the ambient temps.

also another question..... i want to add different feeders to give him a better variety, what is he big enough to eat other than crickets?

I saw your othe rthread regarding th ebasking, getting the ambient temps up can help. i would also suggest that if you can, get him outside for some real sunshine. that can help alot.
As for other feeders, he can eat just about anything now if he is closer to 6 months old.
I feed calciworms, waxworms, mealworms, tiny moths i find outside, and hes gotten a grasshopper.

You can feed any of the previous foods, as well as dubia roaches. calciworms you can feed daily, as well as dubia roaches (many people use the roaches as daily feeders instead of crickets).
you can continue to feed mealwroms, however, I would reduce the amount you are currently feeding him to one or two a week if that.
THis is because they have a hard exo skeleton that can cause impactiong when fed too much.

Thank you so much for your help, i will be getting some new feeders for him then :)
and after some minor adjustments my ambient temps are coming up, so i'll just have to keep an eye on it and keep it consistant.
