All along I thought she was female...

I purchased my veiled from theveiledchameleon.com the guy sent me a female, which I had requested. She is beginning to get older, she just turned 6.5 months I believe, and I notice spurs on her hind legs. Am I mistaken? Do females also have spurs? I have read they do not.

Here are the spurs...

That's the best I could get with all the moving!! They look pretty pronounced, compared to how they came out in the pics..

Definitely a male you have there, spurs, pattern, I see a bit of his Casque. He's a boy!

I began to question a couple months ago, when I got him he was extremely tiny, too tiny to send (in my opinion) but not sure what the normal rules are to that.

A general rule of thumb is saleable at 2 months, Veileds should be sexable by then anyway because of the spurs, how long have you had him?

Wow Camille is stunning!! I got him at 3 months, smaller than the first male I got at 3.5 months. He is now 6.5. I saw a little hint of spur when I first had him but I thought maybe both had spurs just males were much more obvious... Thought wrong..!

It's been said before many a time, but I'm not sure I've nailed my colours to the mast before, so I'm going to declare that Luie is the most impressive Veiled I have ever seen :D What a guy, lol

Thank you! All it takes is allot of love and excellent care. :)

camille is my favorite veiled ive ever seen. if i ever get one i will probably get a female...i think they are far more attractive than the males. just my opinion though.

i dont think many people like thevieledchameon so im not surprised you didnt get what you ordered... if youre ok with it though, thats cool!

Not trying to throw em under the bus but they were impatient with my questions and sent it 2 days after the claimed date and didn't answer my calls. I finally found a diff number for their "shipping department" worried and almost in tears waiting by the door for her wondering what the hell was going on. They told me due to weather they held the shipping date.. great! Fantastic! Call a bitc4!!! Lol!! Good thing I didn't purchase to breed...

Hahaha, showoff :). You know there's some genetics in there somewhere.....look at his colours and patterns........mine would never look quite like that no matter what I fed him
