Not that they are meaningless, I appreciate getting likes and such, and its nice to see, how folks feel about my post, but it just doesnt carry the same weight.

They on OCN have "Flames" that are tied to the Rep, so after 30 rep you get a flame, under your name like the awards we have now. After 100 you get your second flame, ect. 5 Flames is some god awful number, I think its like 1500 or something, and there is like 15 people on the entire site that have that, and they have like 80k posts.

That was about the time, Likes starting being given out easier, around late 2016, early 2017.

Don't get me wrong, it was still harder to get likes then, then it is now. But not as bad as it was when I joined in 13.

I spend alot of time reading old posts too, from 2008-2012 Era, and it was even worse then. You will go through a 6 page thread and not see 1 like on a single post.

@jamest0o0 when did you become a member ? I think I came along around 2016 but had been reading up for a few years . I think Jame is well before both us .
 
When do me and klyde get to be a cool kid :( I hit 1000 messages and I was expecting A FULL ON PARTY AND MY SCREEN TO GO ALL PURPLE AND RED AHHHGHH
 
Crap, I was excited when I got Established Member and I've been here two years. I must have a long way to go before I'm in the cool kids club. :)
