finally got a video of one of the babies hatching. had to split it into two parts and take a little break b/c it didn't want to come out. pt 1 is a little long but you can see it moving its eyes and pt 2 is when it finally decided to come into the world. enjoy!!!
Holy smoke!! he's on fire!! very nice bud..
What a great video! As I was watching Part 1 I could hear crickets chirping in the background - it made me laugh; "yah, he's a cham owner" I thought, then I realized maybe it wasn't crickets on your video that I heard, but the crickets currently gut loading in my closet!! lol
Anyways the babies are incredible...your sire and his daddy are both champs so I'm willing to bet the babies will do the bloodline proud! Congrats!
Haha! Just made my way through the entire,thread....WOWWW!! You are the Grand Poobah of successful breeders!! How have you kept your sanity in the face of so many babies?? What are you going to do when the 3rd clutch matures? Take a vacation?
Kudos to you....they are simply beautiful!!
the 4th clutch started hatching!!!
Holy smokes, seriously?? My only complaint is that I live in Canada and can't buy one of your beautiful babies myself!!
That boy is awesome! Quality chams right there!
Congrats!! I can't wait for mine to hatch....the weight is killing me. At what point have they been hatching (incubation time). Do you add any water when they get close? What temps are you using? Variation day night?
thx rob! I know the feeling. mine started hatching right at 7 months. I don't add any water at any point in the incubation period. it varies but it stays in the range of 74-78 and it does fluctuate during the evening.
Thx!! My first clutch is right at 8mo now and look close. My temps are 74 day and 68 night...but the past few days I have been keeping it at 74 day and night hoping to get them to pop. What incubation medium do you use? Have you had good overall hatch rates?
I use coarse vermiculite. I haven't had any issues w/ it. what are you using?
It's a lot of work but its worth it when you get babies that look this.

He is awesome!!!
BEAUTIFUL! I am so sad that I can't have one of your babes! I think cross-border import related costs should be less expensive and less stringent...breaks my heart that I can't have some of the babies I see on CF.
Great job...master breeder!
