Any celebrities on here?

Ever wonder which famous people are lurking around on the forums you participate in? There has got to be at least one celebrity here. Its basically a law of Physics.

Now spill it! Who here is famous?! Common Leo, we all know you have Lizards! Speak up!

I once posted a video on break.com that made the front page. Got me $600. Perhaps you have heard of it, "the nickel trick."

Ladies please calm down. I will sign autographs but that is all.

My daughter went to school with the son of an actor, does that count? I had a documentary filmed on my family's move from the UK last year and got followed around by a damned irritating film crew for weeks. The scenes in Times Square were funniest, loads of tourists kept taking our photo in case we were famous!

As for Leo, it's been a long long time since his chameleon ownership was documented, I'd be surprised if he still keeps them.

Thats kind of interesting- what was the name of the documentary?

I'd love to visit the UK one of these days. I loved France when I was there (what little I saw...).

I was told by a friend that I was unknowingly in a documentary one time. I was at a conference in Las Vegas and evidently they were doing a documentary on it (given the nature of this particular conference, that is not surprising). I have never seen the footage myself but evidently he was watching TV and there we were.

Here's the closest I have been to fame....I went to the same high school as Bret Michales, but his name was Bret Sychak back in the day. I met him at a few parties, used to go see Poison when they were called Paris at a little dive bar. My sister was friends with his sister, Nicole. He once brought Pam Anderson to a party that I was supposed to be at but I didn't go for some reason. The 80s are a little blurry.

I'm and old friend of Johneven Hornsby. I went to preschool, some of grammar school, soccer teams and basketball at my house with him and other friends on the weekends. His older brother Russel went to acting school in back east for five years and was in 50 Cents movie "Get Rich of Die Tryin", "Meet the Parents" and has a main role in the new series "Grimm". My family considers the Hornsby Family as old friends.

Plus another close friend of mine Anna Winthrop does professional ballet/opera in New York. Along with my baby sitter Laurie B. her brother Eric played football for the Cowboys for 5-6 years. Lastly I went to High School with Jason Kidd (St. Joesphs of Notre Dame in Alameda California) and sat next to his sister (Denise) in Algebra class.

Then I did live in a Malibu frat house for about a year. The stories continue from there.

I got knocked over in a grocery store isle by mel Gibson. Does that count? Oh I have eaten at a restaurant owned by Kevin Costner - but then so has half of souther CA.

But the most special to me is having meet Jimmy Buffet back stage at several concerts.

probably the closest we have is Dr to be Anderson and our assorted biologists and vets. They are all wonderful in their fields and without them things wouldn't be the same here. They may not be celebrities to the world but they are to me.

We have got one lurker that could be an Olympic Athlete. I have been meaning to send him a PM about that.

I starred in a few commercials as a child lol. Like for chocolate coins and things like that, nothing super fancy.

I don't want to jinx it, but I have an opportunity to host a season of episodes for a public channel in Costa Rica/Latin America on nature/animals once I graduate, so it will be interesting to see if this pans out. I speak the language and know the country well, so it would be awesome. We'll see later this fall what happens.

My family actually has got a prestigious accolade. We are one of a pioneering group of three parties to that started the Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil (not olive oil made from canning olives) in North America. We imported a traditional oil olive root stock that the Tuscan's though Californians would prefer in 1992 (although we have imported more olive trees from other Mediterranean countries since then). However do to soil properties and characteristic now they are planted in California they are now authentic California olive trees.

I have family in Finland that are in the olympics for bob sled and that are famous doctors lol. Also my great uncle played professional baseball for Chicago cubs and detroit tigers. Ive also met the 4star general of the army lol. Took a shot of Jack Daniels on stage with Grechen Wilson lmao. Nothing crazy or anything.

I think the question is if anyone who is a celebrity is on here meaning they must have chams or dragons or frogs, etc. and reads our posts. I bet there are a lot of us who have someone famous or semi famous in our background somewhere, but it's not quite the same thing. Almost Dr. Anderson has been to Madagascar and has written many articles on herps and is getting a name for himself. Stand up and take a bow Sir.

There is nothing almost about my families olive oil company.

Did any of you have the opportunity to read the Reptiles Magazine article about the Exo Terra trip to Cameroon? There a couple good shots and mention of Chris. Chris is fortunate to study chameleons for his PHD.
