Any celebrities on here?

You don't think "super crochet woman" is a celebrity? I'm shocked and appalled....I encourage your daughters to pick up the hook and try crocheting. I think I've shown that it is not all about blankies.

I am going to encourage my daughter to crochet, knit, carve wood, weld, fix cars, take care of animals, shoot guns, cook, bake, clean, read, write, and play musical instruments among many other skills and hobbies that make a well rounded strong person. Hopefully she won't have time to play team sports or cheer lead or something stupid I'll have to pretend to like...

I had some scenes in a movie with wesley snipes in 2006 "Hard Luck" was the title. My mother is friends with James Woods and I have talked to him several times. Last year a magazine did an article on me about my old job and the speech I gave in vegas at the mirage.....my father is friends with Jay Leno and has a reality show about to come out. But I do not talk to my father anymore. Famous no. I don't have time to be famous.

My crocheted chameleon took "best in crochet division" at the San Diego Fair this year....

Does that make me a celebrity?

I knit!

You are famous to me Eliza, I adore anatomically correct crafting... My daughter has a 3ft plush goldfish that I bought just because it had fins and gills in all the right places.

Edited to add: can you post a bigger picture?!

I was part of Joan Lunden's Behind Closed Doors show about 12 years ago while I was at college. They filmed at the CIA (Culinary Institute of America), and I have 3 mini-interviews. Beyond that I'm not famous unless you count my submission to The NitPickers Guide to Star Trek: The Next Generation, which considering the number of Star Trek inspired chameleon names on here might be more impressive to some!

My meller's chameleons and I were one of the case stories on Animal Planet's Emergency Vets series with Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald.

Thank you! I live for minor celebrity. I love (LOVE) any stuffed thing that should not have been stuffed...when I was checking my stuff out after the fair there was a giant stuffed squid sitting next to the line...the thing was like 7 feet long, I LOVED IT!!! Who makes a giant stuffed squid?

I'll try to take a bigger picture...alas, my camera is ancient.

well, there is an exception to every rule....
(I crochet)

hmmmm.....seems that we need to start a thread in the Lizard Lounge.....

Already have a lathe it's in storage at the moment.... Can't wait to get my shop set up later this year we will see some awesome new chameleon enclosures I guarantee!

Either way if you want to learn how to use a lathe I can give a few pointers, I'm not awesome but I'm good.

I might be famous for my wood art one day? Never know! ha haa

I dont think he is on here but I did sell some chameleons to Dave Silveria from the band Korn back in 2006.

Were going on some stretches here... most all of us have met famous people, my grandfather's uncle corresponded regularly with Einstein and most of the other big physicists and mathematicians of that time.

So who here IS famous and has not just met famous people?

Jeff Corwin likes chameleons, maybe we can get him to join? (Is he even famous anymore?)

I absolutely love Jeff Corwin!!! He'll always be famous to me:D

I'm on a DVD box cover...........but you can only get it in one of those stores you have to 18 to be in...D'OH!!!!! (long story, don't ask)
