Any ideas on locale?

Ah! I see! Cool, I will keep an eye on it, cheers. I'm not sure he is fully grown, I was told he was only 5 months old does it not look like thats the case?

On a related topic, I cringe to ask... But... Do Chameleons have any idea about how much they should eat? When I was putting the crickets in for the first time I accidentally dropped the box in the cage and he went after them like a monster and pretty much cleared half a box. I have only had him since Friday, and i'm trying to gauge his appetite, what would be a healthy amount? He doesn't seem at all keen on wax worms.

While growing male panthers can eat as many as 25 a day. I would definitely offer him at least 15 until he is full grown. Then again it all depends on the size of the crickets. The width of his head should be the length of the crickets.

He is a GORGEOUS Nosy Be! Are you using calcium supplements? What sort of UV light do you have on there?

Thanks! I have a 24" 20watt reptiglo 5.0, I'm not sure whether to double up or not. Yup I am using Calcium but I'm not sure if it stays on the crickets if they escape into the cage and he knocks about half of them off my hand.

He loves looking out the window, and we noticed he has a little heart marking on his back foot thats quite cute. Its embarrassing! I'm a grown man acting like a 9 year old girl with a kitten!

Is there a big list of plants I can look into putting into the cage?

Boy you lucked out. Great lucky Nosy be. He looks to me to be a little older than 5 months but what do i know. I find that whenever i get a new cham, they always seem to eat like crazy for a few weeks then they calm down a little. What kind of calcium are you using? With or w/o d3? That is important. Any how many crickets, and how many times a week? Also very important.

I'm using 2:0 Calcium/no Phosphate with vitamins A D3 and C and gutloading crickets with carrots cucumber and 'T Rex Calcium Plus food for crickets'.

I haven't made up a timetable for these things yet, I'm powdering about 3 crickets a day and letting the rest run around the bottom of the enclosure.

Any suggestions for the amount and schedule would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, is there anyway of getting an idea of age?

Thanks to everyones good advice, I have as advised tried to utilize the upper area of the tank better so I hope he appreciates it (at the moment he is sulking because of the change!)

I also put a moonlight bulb to increase the heat a bit, i'm gonna leave it on 24/7 though because it was barely reaching the right basking temperature and he was hanging under the spot.

Thanks agin for everyones advice.
