Yes! Eden absolutely loves to look out the window. I was also wondering if anyone else's chams enjoyed it also. :) image.jpg

Yea, Pete loves looking out the window into the small town we live in. I'm sure he's wondering what all that white stuff is out there.

OMG! I love chams! :) So cute pictures! And some people say "Oh it's just a chameleon..." They have no idea!
I love the pics! :)

Peanut loves checking out the neighborhood but the Brevs just hide from the world. I don't blame them though. I would hide from the world if I was only two inches long too!

Window

So I've read somewhere that said it could be stressful for them to be able to see out a window with out being able to go out there. It continued to say that if A cage is by a window it could lead to nose rubbing or somthing like that. I am going to be getting two panthers and I was just wondering what people thought about that having cage by a window. Does anyone ever have any problems with that. I am building the cages and they are very large so my cages would be by a window is that ok?

my boys home is not by the window.i dont see any harm in letting him enjoy looking outside.i cant see it doing any harm and he enjoys it. x :)

Smidget's cage is right in front of a window.
He parks himself on a branch, and stares out the window all day long.
He was so preoccupied with it, that he would never come to the front of the
cage, or even pay attention to the crickets I dump in his feeder.
I finally had to cut a piece of white shower curtain to size, and tape it to
the rear of his cage.
Now, if he wants to look out the window, I let him out on the free range.

I have 2 windows in the living room for my chams to share, and when I let
Smidget out, he heads strait for one

When he is out, and sees me approching, he hides for frear I may want to
collect him and take him back home.
It's funny to see him hide and peak to see if I have noticed him :D

I'm telling ya, these animals DO NOT act like "lizards"!!!!

Try to tell that to someone who has never owned one

Every chameleon that I've ever had loves looking out the windows. I try my best to always set up their free range by a window. If you keep your chameleon in an enclosure you have to be careful placing if by a window because it can get too hot and they can't escape to a cooler area.

great pic & beautiful cham you got there! xx :)
Thank you! I put a 6 ft piece of driftwood across the kitchen window and every afternoon he comes out for a look - waits by the door of his enclosure when the kitchen gets sunny and he know it is time for his "walk" :)
