Aquarium Hood

Hi again,

I was wondering if I can use an aquarium hood for my cage? I would just switch out the bulbs for the UVA/UVB ones. Would this be okay?

Yea. Just the light bar? Or the whole thing? u dont wanna remove air flow. But as far as using the light fixture yes. Just remove the clear plastic peice that protects the bulb. As it will block the beifical rays from getting into ur enclouser.

So long as the wattage is the same then yes. As said, if theres a plastic cover guarding the bulb it will need to be removed, and so long as it doesnt cover all of the top of your cage stopping the air flow.

I assume she has a screened cage. The top being covered will not affect airflow.

He's a 3 month old Nosy Be baby, so he will be in a exo-terra glass terrarium until he grows out of it
