aquazamp

Over 2 weeks after I ordered and still haven't received my aquazamp system. I'm getting ready to cancel and go to mistking.

I recently had a bad experience with Kevin as well, I ordered my system nearly a week and no contact, I emailed twice with no response only when I started a dispute with PayPal did he ever contact me. I finally received the system, only I specified I wanted white tubing, which is an option when ordering not like I was making some out landish demand, needless to say it came with black tubing, he has sent me two emails about a week apart saying that he is shipping the tubing "tomorrow". I have the emails saved I will post if necessary. All most three months after original purchase I have given up hope. Go with a mistaking or promise

Well maybe customer service has gone down hill in the last 6 months. Ive had day long back and forth conversations with him over system design and flow rates.

Once you do get your kit it is very high grade stuff. All pumps and connectors are universal fit, no proprietary stuff. The pump alone is a made in the usa rebuildable reverse osmosis auxiliary pump.

I just disputed my order as well.

Do you like the system?

System is fine, nothing special. I would not recommend it just for the fact that his customer skills leave a lot to be desired.

I have owned both the mistking and AquaZamp. In terms of quality of components, the AquaZamp is better. Remember, a misting system is not a super complicated system, not many components, and they are pretty similar. I love the aquaZamp but I have heard complaints over the last several months regarding customer service. I had no problem with the service but I ordered mine about 9 months ago. If everything does not work out, I have a spare aquazamp misting system I could sell you. If you are interested PM me.

Its pretty easy to make one
get a aquatech cdp 6800 or 8800 booster pump for 50-$75. Then just the nozzles from any boat, patio, hydroponics, or even lawn store. The magic timer is just a digital lamp timer.

$100+shipping is not bad for a complete Mistking setup. Plus customer service is excellent. Tracking #s and great communication and an excellent product make it well worth the $. Good luck with your claim.

I have 2 aquazamp systems and they are great systems And when i purchased them the customer service was top notch. Quick replies to all of my incessant questions.

Not that this is an excuse for less than adequate customer service but last i heard Kevin was havimg some health issues. Some thing to be mindful of. You are dealing with a small business, not a company that has hundreds of people who can fill in when the main guy is sick.

Well that worked... put in a dispute and boom it's out for delivery the next day. I'm happy because I really wanted an aquazamp system. I think a reply to an email is not a lot to ask. I can wait and would've been more then understanding if Kevin is health issues, but let me know. I'll give my opinion on the dome once I get Peter's forever home all done

BTW.... I hope whatever Kevin is going through he gets well soon.

Hi all. Been away from the boards for a while.

I also purchased an AquaZamp kit March 5 2015... havent received anything back except sales confirmation at time of purchase. Emailed a few times and no response. I needed this thing weeks ago and should have gone with Mist King now that i realize there are issues (did research on forums before i went with AquaZamp).

Since i need this thing, ill give a week and then go from there.

I buy TONS of things online and this is the first time i felt totally ripped off and unhappy.

At least im not the only one here with an issue with them because i thought it was just my order.

I received my aquazamp yesterday. I don't think I want to put the pump on top of the bucket like the directions say, seems like it would be a pain to refill.

I have mine on top of the bucket, and as long as you have room to raise it, it's fine. I don't take the lid completely off, I just tilt it enough to pour the water in.

Thanks.... I was thinking of drilling a bigger hole in the top so I can just pour through it. IDK.... I'll figure it out.

You're welcome. :) I wouldn't drill a filling hole, unless you're going to cover it with something. You wouldn't want stuff or feeders to fall in and contaminate the water.

It's not a pain to refill at all. The pump is incredibly quiet and doesn't vibrate. I just lift the lid--running or not--pour in water and put the lid back on. I don't snap it on or seal it. It stays on just fine.

Just a heads up, mine looked as if the bolt holes on the pump and lid didn't match up. Someone--was it MelissaB?--suggested I just do one bolt at a time on the diagonal--top left, bottom right, etc. Sure enough it went together beautifully. I would never in a million years have imagined it could. Everything flexed and I have a really nice, tight, solid fit.

I really love my AquaZamp. I, too, had a few delays in getting it, but it was worth the wait.

Just got finished settling it up. I ran a test and everything is working beautifully. Tomorrow I'm washing and preparing my wandering jew & umbrella plant. I got some nice vines from the woods and will be getting everything done within the next couple days.

Peter is itching to get into his forever home.

I have been away for awhile as well but I have an aquazamp and I love it. I have the raindome attachment and it is great. It was well worth the wait and I do believe I had heard rumors of health or personal issues. even with all I have read I would order from him again. It is top notch equipment.
