April was very nice went I took Elly to her for the prolapse when Dr. Alfonso was out of town. She gives you her cell number and she also does 24 hour emergency service. She has called to check on Elly a couple of times and I have called her a few times for consults.

Broward Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital
Dr. Amanda Grant

Coral Springs, FL 33071

Very knowledgable of reptiles including snakes, chams, dragons, etc. including the standard birds, rabbits, etc. I have rarely seen a dog or cat in there. It is easy to get to for all you folks in So. East Florida. I have been there 4 times with sick chams.

they will work with almost all animals and exotics and if the case is extreme or something they have not seen they will refer you to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. LSU will see you but you need a referral from your local vet. Here is LSU's vet info:

Dr. Lewer is awesome!! He has been through alot with my "special needs" cham and when he was perplexed, he called his buddies at the Portland Zoo.

Really nice to have a great vet. Even better to know that he will call for advice if he needs to!:D

Broward Avian & Exotic Animal Clinic
Dr. Susan Kelleher
Dr. Santiago Diaz

I have used Dr. Kelleher for several years and enjoy working with her. She is always right on with her diagnoses and treatments and wants the owner to be part of the treatment team. She explains everything and knows a lot about chameleons.

She is also the vet used by Ben Siegal Reptiles.

Well my partner and I are probably the only shetlanders on here but wth, I'll post our vet anyway :)

http://www.westvets.co.uk/

This is currently the only vets practice on the isles. They do have a reptile guy but as far as I know there is only one other chameleon on the island apart from mine! I guess he must treat all the millions of bearded dragons, snakes and geckos!

I am from Vancouver, British Columbia (currently living in Langley, BC) and have had the opportunity(!) to utilise Dr. Elizabeth Borgmann for the care of my chameleons at the Whatcom Road Veterinary Clinic when they've required medical attention, which is more times that I care to admit! (I am a huge chameleon-worrier and take them to the vet if I have the smallest of concerns!) I have also boarded my chams with her as I don't trust their care to just anyone when I'm away!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Dr. Dennis Fees

I met the doc nearly 20 yrs ago while managing a pet store. I taught him about equipment and environmental needs. He taught me quite a bit about basic medical care, nothing fancy but it helped over the years.

He has quite a bit of herp experience, he was also the vet who helped save my parsonii. He has a partner there who treats the animals at the LA zoo. Overall two of the best exotic vets in the southland of California.

Dr. Mass is extremely knowledgeable about chameleons and an excellent surgeon. Every chameleon of mine he has seen has made a full recovery. Highest recommendation!
