Dunwoody GA- VET TO AVOID
Located in Atlanta, researched for a good reptile vet, came up with All Creatures Veterinary Hospital. Apparently, the vets there are quite capable. NOT in my experience. I brought a new male veiled to him that was showing early signs of respiratory issues (head up frequently, slight lethargy), plus I wanted to treat for parasites and coccidia prophylactically. After blowing my calls off all day, I got a call 45 minutes before they closed, and the doctor said he couldnt see any signs. I said hes definitiely showing symptoms. And I was told "I rely on medicine. Not someones observation and experience in keeping them." I promptly picked up my chameleon. The next day, I went to another vet, where he insisted my observations were acute, we inspected the chameleons mouth, mucousy and telltake RI. STarted on baytril.
If in Atlanta, DONT GO to All Creatures Veterinary. They are arrogant and egotistical.
