Artificial plants problem

hi guys might be a really stupid question but does anyone else have trouble with getting the exo terra artificial plants to stay attacked to glass? The suckers don’t seem to stay stuck for long and fall off.any help would be great

Do you wet the suction cup before securing it to the glass?

Yeah I have done/tryed that and also made sure glass and cup are clean.

She is about 8-9months old

How big is your cage? She might be too heavy for the suction cups to support

Try wiping the glass with a microfiber cloth. In my experience that makes them stick better.

You can silicone them in but then you wouldn’t be able to have her in the cage for a day or two

The cage is 18x18x60 at the minute and I wouldn’t like to silicone cus of chemicals and changing it around if I wanted to.

I’m just using the one that cane with it tbh and with it being Exo Terra thought it would be good.

Try zip tieing them from branch to branch.

Just use real plants, nothing but problems when using fake plants with plant eating veileds.

add another suction cup and spray the glass with water before you stick it on, stick it on and let the water evaporate and it should stick better

3M Command hooks work well on glass. Just be careful some of them have a cut out center section that exposes the sticky tape. Don't get that kind or stick paper to it so your chameleon doesn't get caught up.
I think real plants are a better choice in the long run but this will get you thru in the mean time.

Pothos is basically unkillable. Schflerra (the abricola type) is also pretty hearty for me

Live plants are the way to go. And vields eat them. I keep my vields with hibiscus. They love to eat them. Especially the flowers.
