i was letting my panther outside for a bit while i cleaned off my back porch. i had him in my schefelera tree just hanging out. i went over to him to see how he was, and i noticed a little flying beatle of some sort that had flown and landed on the branch below him. befor i could make it move he made it lunch. is that bad ? ? ? its not on his normal diet  :D sorry i cant post pics of the bug right now.:D

If the cham is still alive, then it probably isn't the end of the world (if the bug had been poisonous, your cham probably would have shown symptoms of it by now).

However, whenever chams eat wild bugs, there is always a risk that they pick up parasites from them. Just make sure that you continue to have regular fecal checks done by your vet to test for parasites, and you should be ok.

He probably enjoyed the variation from his regular diet.
(in future though, try to identify any wild bugs BEFORE you allow your cham to eat them, just in case)
