Babies 12/27/17

Sorry I meant Wow Jenn they are beautiful! I don't know IF you remeber me but I use to have Jasper (veiled) and Bagera (Panther). You were the first person on here to truly help me with setting up my enclosure. It's nice to see you still here! I am getting a new veiled next week from FLChams. I have recently moved to Florida and super excited to finally build an outdoor enclosure. I'll be sure to post pictures :)

I remember you of course. Why don’t you wait and get one of my babies? They will be super friendly and gorgeous because these are Luie and Camille’s great, great, Grands. You do remember Luie and Camille don’t you? And it is Jann.

I do remember then and my damn phone autocorrected to Jenn... my apologies... I will message you! :)

I’ll probably sale the babies for $50.00 plus shipping. In some cases where they go to special keepers homes that I know or that close friends of mine know, with chameleon experience, I’ll let them go for shipping only. I mainly want my sweet babies to go to kind and loving forever homes. These babies are going to be extremely sweet and friendly. They are already trying to crawl out on me and love just sitting on my finger. ❤️
Who qualifies as a special keeper? The one who is dressing up their chameleons for tea parties, inviting them to their birthday parties, and asking for 6 different species of roach for Christmas, OR the keeper who is just keeping the chameleon on display in a naturalistic enclosure? ROFL!

The big challenge is having a laying bin for the enclosure. If you pay close attention to the little girl you can easily set up a temporary setup when the time comes. I just love the gravid colors and the spots they show. I know so many think only the males show colors, but there are so many beautiful girls on here :D (chameleon one's of course ).

Female can be very beautiful and colorful.

I can't wait to see what my girlie is going to look like!

Hi Jannb, I am new here and looking for some emergency help. I got three new-borns on 12/20 , but two were gone last week:( I think they were starved. How can I get the last one to eat the fruit flies and tiny crickets? Also still got 4 unhatched egg. Shall I keep waiting or do something to check if still alive? Thanks,

I’m very sorry to hear about your babies. How are you keeping them? Any pictures of their setup? What’s the temps? How often are you misting them? I would love to be able to help your babies but need more info. This is how I keep babies in this link.

You can also see pictures of my baby bins in this thread. It’s the very first picture.

I placed the newborns in the original cage, see attached, where first housed their parents. Temp was 27~30C. Moisiture level was kept ~50% and mist 3~4 times during day time. I suspect the cage was too big with too many things that may distract them to catch the fruit flies. Could the bamboo water fountain be too wet for them? Also about the remaining 4 eggs (already 3 weeks apart from first hatch), shall I keep waiting or do something? Thanks

So, I was talking to a person from my LPS (not one of the chains. This place actually knows what they're doing!) about my plans to breed Echo and his future girlfriend. And they sounded pretty receptive to purchasing babies from me, knowing that they wouldn't be arriving until probably the end of this year. (y) He sounded kind of excited by the opportunity to work with a local breeder. :) I like to plan ahead when I take on projects like this. If I end up with 30-50 babies, I'm going to need some where for them to go! Of course, CF members will get first dibs.;)

I just went to visit these babies today, and can personally attest to their sweetness and adorability factor!!! Jann's got such a great set-up for them and they are definitely well-loved, as if that was ever a question :D
Soooo jelous...if she doesn't post more pictures soon I'm going to have an anxiety attack. I do know they are loved...never a doubt there.

Keep the eggs, that often don’t hatch all at once. What’s your temps? With all those lights you might be keeping them to hot. I keep my babies around 80 to 82. I recommend misting two to three times a day and not using a fountain. Here’s how I keep my babies.
