baby baby! first chameleon

Hey guys. This is my first chameleon. He is veiled male and about a inch and a half from tail to vent. I was told he is 3 weeks old. From what I am reading this is super young to sell. I have him in a small glass tank(i know glass is bad but was told it is better for the little ones) and I am already in the process of building his big boy cage 24x24x48 mesh cage for when he is bigger like 6 months maybe? By the way, I got him today! I have done a lot of research but haven't found much about babies. So I have a few questions

How much should he eat a day?

I have 1/8 inch crickets and got him home at about 4 in the afternoon and he was super active walking none stop on my hand and up my arm, climbing on my head and wanted to sit on top of my head so with all the activity he ate about 10 little crickets. Is this a lot or do they need more? Should I feed him until he doesn't want anymore?

Supplements.

I have zoo meds repti calcium with d3 which I was told to use everyday but have read that it to much. Is this true?
I also have zoo meds reptivite with d3 that I was told to use once a week.

Lighting

I have a zilla slimline hood with the t8 tube bulb and I took the plastic cover off because I read the uvb doesn't do through. I plan on getting a reptisun bulb to put in there but have read so much controversy about the 5.0 vs the 10.0 bulbs. I hear 5 isn't strong enough because you loose half of the uvb with the top on the cage then the uvb only goes 5 inches in the cage then I hear the 10 is to much and will burn them

The basking bulb I just have a dome with a 60w house bulb about 3 inches away from the screen so he can get probably 6 inches away from the bulb at the closest. Again so much controversy I have heard at this age they dont even need one? And again i don't want to burn him. What should his basking temp be?

Water

Right now I take him to the shower about every hour and a half to 2 hours and turn on some warm water and turn the shower head to the wall so that a mist splashs off the wall and he sits on my finger and just loves it. He will turn bright green. It this enough water do I also need to mist his cage? And will he be OK at night with out mist? I am trying to avoid a drainage system until he is in his big cage. I was told the number 1 reason tiny ones die if because they need a lot of water but to be careful and not give him to much

I think that is all the questions I have right now. If ANY of this is wrong and you have any advise please tell me. I don't want him to not grow right because I dont do something right for him.

Thank you!

Thank you for the link. I actually saw that earlier and it was not in line with the info I was given by the breeder who I thought was reliable but know this site is reliable so I wanted to clarify a little bit. Your right though this was helpful !

You can feed him as much as he will eat in one meal (5-10 minutes), since he's a growing little cham.

Unless you have to totally overdose it do calcium with NO d3 every day, calcium with d3 once over two weeks and reptivite once every two weeks.
