Baby Melleri Madness!!

So basically never quit worrying

LOL. I don't think I would call it worrying...more like always be mindful. You really have to have a good eye with chameleons regardless of the species or age.

I give all my chameleons a good visual inspection everyday and take them out once a week to physically inspect them.

I was being slightly facetious. I do agree it's not so much about being worried, more so about being attentive to their care. I do think the melleri require a little extra attention.

I hatched 43 and lost 2.

The 38 are going strong. There are 3 that have some catching up to do. I moved them into their own cages so I could monitor them more closely.
Dang!!! So there all really doing well pretty much. That's pretty amazing all by itself. Keep up the good work!

Hey Joel, can we get a premature 2 month birthday update? :)

Of course. They are all doing well. Some are ahead of the curve growing quite rapidly. But that happens! Some are starting their second sheds too!

What I really love is seeing how their tails are developing the scalloping! Love it!

Looking wonderful Joel- as you say - amazing that scalloping is beginning to appear.
Gorgeous little babies!

I wish they didn't grow up so fast, but at least (with tons of constant pressure from us :D) you have provided a great photo timeline for reference!
