Recently my cousin had passed away.. I thought this was bad enough until I get an email from the person I sent a package of books to... saying that the books I had sent to her were missing, and replaced with a pair of business pants and coffee grinds...
I made a call to USPS and got a hold of a "supervisor" and was given a confirmation number and told I'd be called back in 2 business days.. So now I have over $90 in books missing.... The worst part is, is I was told that there was no insurance offered on my shipment!! Because of that, I was told to go speak to the post master at my local post office and talk to them - what are they going to do? Fire the person? I am so stressed out I am shaking... I am incredibly angry right now and upset at the same time. I am on the brink of tears and it feels like nothing is going right... I don't know what to do but wait by my phone for a call that will probably not do any good at all...
Today is not a good day. Sorry for the rant, but I am just curious to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Their excuse was "the box must have broken open on the conveyor belt"..
