Beginner chameleon keeper seeking help

I got my veiled chameleon from petco April 1st and have been trying to read up on everything I can to keep it healthy. I live in Alaska so temp, humidity, and variety of bugs is a little tough so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how he/she looks I should have included 2 pics below.

Hi, your Cham appears to be female and doesn't look too bad. There is a great care sheet on this website maybe someone will link it for you. Please provide more photos of the rear feet so we can positively id the gender.

Thanks a lot for the info! I tried to take a picture of her back legs but she REALLY did not like that there are no indication of any spikes or anything like that if that is what you were looking for

She looks good to me, do you know approximately how old she is? If I didn't know any better, I'd think she's about to start showing you her receptive colouration!

Definitely start researching and setting up a laying bin for her. In time you'll start to learn her habits and figure out when it's time to lay. The more prepared you are, and well kept she is, the easier it will be for both of you.

I'm not sure exactly how old she is I know that when I bought her from petco on April 1st she was about 3-4 inches in length or just smaller than the length of my index finger.

She's got some growing to do then! Looks like she has a nice full belly though.
