Hello,

I've been keeping Veileds for 3 years now, and panthers for 1 and a half. I really want to start working with Pygmy's.

The R. Temporalis look very interestingm, but apparently the R. Brevicaudatus
are a better start?

Which one is better for a beginner?

I began with brevs (and they're the only ones I have, so far). The husbandry has been pretty well worked out with them and they're not demanding; my only hesitation is that they looked rather "dull" (little, drab, no fancy ornamentation). Well, I learned never to underestimate the power of Cute. They look much, much neater in person than pictures can ever convey, and the males have some nice patterning on the flanks and eye turrets.
My two cents.
