Big Boy Terrarium!

Espio moved into his big boy terrarium today! 24 X 24 X 48 screen cage. This weekend I'll be getting more sticks and vines for him to climb and some more fake plants for coverage. The plant in the bottom is a golden pothos, so hopefully it will provide more coverage as it grows.

Espio seems to like it. He was exploring all around when I first put him in it and is now in his basking spot. He looked so big in his old terrarium (18 X 18 X 24) and looks so small in this one!

Any other suggestions? I'm going to be getting one of the linear uvb bulbs in the mail next week to replace the spiral one he has now. :)

No other suggestions other than what you already said about more plants, vines, and branches! I am glad you got him a big cage! I am sure he will be very happy!

What's the dish at the bottom for?

I spray those fake leaves heavily a couple times a day for him to drink. He generally sits on those leaves when I spray for him to drink (not on him, just on the leaves around him). The dish collects the water that drips off the leaves, so i can empty it easily after the spraying and keep the bottom dry. :)

Oh, good haha. Just thought I'd check :D If it were just to pour water in and let him drink, I was gonna say he wouldn't go for it so nix it... but you're all over it

Looks like your off to a good start.
Once you get it filled in, I'm sure your cham will feel safe and secure in it.
What kind of UVB are you using?
