65$ for a book!? lmao no wonder people go bankrupt in the world of technology we live in today.
I've spent much more than that on good books.

They only have "editor" names on the book which I assume are the authors.
The price is OK if you think about the info that's going into it
It's not that much for a book
It's a good book about chams, I could pay 1000$ and not be upset (well that's a little bit exaggerating but you know)I've spent much more than that on good books.

That is cheap. ever had to buy 'living snakes of the world (think that was the title). It was $130 back in 1993 or so. most reptile books are super expensive do to the glossy pix inside. they may also demand a higher price as to the lack of sales. herp books aren't all that popular, and the publisher will want to recoup their money and a profit.

Trouble is, with some sciences, in a year the book is obsolete!!
I have several books on chams, none of them really tell me very much about
their odd behaviours, like the ones we are always talking about, and wondering what they mean, on this forum.
There are still so many things that we do not know about chams, and I have
been waiting for THE book to finally be written!!

Wow, I'm sorry I said anything about the price. Didn't think it would get this thread so off track. I'm really excited about this book and can't wait to get my hands on it. I just wish it was cheaper because I wish everything I want would be cheaper (I want a lot of stuff right now). I'm sure this book is worth the price. Maybe I'll get it as a Christmas gift.
