black spot on veiled chameleon mouth

I just got him a few days ago from a pet shop in saudi arabia and after I got him I noticed a black spot on his mouth I am not sure I think it is a bruise from fighting with other chameleo s or something around that please help. Also I am not sure I tried feeding him bugs but he would not eat I dont know if that is normal with new chameleons adapting to their new surroundings. Thanks.

What kind of bugs are you feeding it?, sometimes they wont eat for days.

We need i formation on your setup, even pictures of your setup

I have him in a small temporary cage for the time being until I get his cage which is in a couple of days it is going to be a 24 by24 by48 and for now he is in his tree that I bought him for the afternoon and then he goes back in his cage at night. I tried to feed him mealworms and crickets but he wont eat them. I also tried the drip system for the water and he didnt drink he just had black spots and got annoyed. Let me know thanks for the help again. And it will not let me post a picture I am new hto this forum so I am not sure why it will not let me upload sorry.

Does he have a UVB light? A heat light for basking?. He will eat on his own if hes hungry but he might be sick get him to a vet

Is the black market along the lips? Could be mouth rot...butwe can only guess unless you post a photo.

That is the black spot I think it is a bruise because when I got him from the petstore he had that mark and he was with other males.
