Hello,
Well today is a beautiful 80 degree day so the boys are getting some fresh air and sunshine. I thought this would be a good opportunity to take some pics and give some updates.
Rex: Rex's mouth has healed from the cut he had inside, and he is doing wonderful as usual. He is the easiest, most mellow of the bunch.
George: He still has the edema but seems to be getting a little better. After he started antibiotics his colors became very dull and he stopped changing in to his sleeping colors at night. Prior to this he was going a week at a time without eating and then would eat 1 bug. After the antibiotics he would eat nothing but silk moths for 2 weeks. Today he ate 6 hornworms (small to medium ish sized) and I was so very happy. He is getting his color back (even at night) and I am hoping he is feeling much better.
Monty our adopted boy: Today was his last dose of metronidazole for his giaridia and he will be going in for x rays tomorrow due to his lab work (increased white count and high uric acid) and hanging his legs a lot. If he is confirmed to have gout we will try a round of treatment to see if it helps.
couldnt get a good pic of him without the screen as he was really soaking the rays on that side of the cage.
