Bradypodion transvaalense

Maybe we can do a Chameleon Share: Get 4 people to chip in $212.50 each (plus freight). :p

I am in , anyone else?

Actually I am semi serious. Depending who joined in the co-op, why not get a group to establish some CBB species within the States? I wouldn't want to be the one to care for them but would like dibs on a baby or something down the line or a trade for the baby I was suppose to get or whatever.

Unless of course doing this would just contribute to poor animal harvesting practices and someone getting rich off of the deminse of another creature. :(

I would love to do that to......Im hoping some1 buys some beardies from me then I'd buy these 2...........just sold one beardie for 800 but thats already taken........Maddy here I come!! LOL

Im gonna say he's got some new ones maybe or some1 has backed outa the sell??

Offered my Emerald Sunset male......got him listed for 1800.00 so maybe I can get 3 or 4 in the trade???
would love to see a pic of that guy, in my mind an $ 1800 cham of any kind is always worth looking at, also if they (the others) came from sa, then wouldnt they have needed cites to get in ?

I think it depends if its CB or not.

What other bradypodions have you guys seen there in the US?

How much would you pay for CB pumilum?

Yes, they are AJA. Just got an email today. Ive just got too much going on at the moment to purchase a pair. SOMEONE needs to though!!!! We may be able to trade Bradypodion species down the road;)

Don't hijack this thread ! What's happend now with the transvaalense ? Does anyone get a pair ?

Well, I bit the bullet and bought a pair. Its quite a bit more money then I wanted to spend but a rare opportunity. When they arrive, I'll be sure to post photos.

I'm highly considering a pair. Did anyone on the forum get some from the last shipment?

I don't know who ended up getting the last group. I have a guess but I'm not sure. If anyone knows who got them or is getting from this group, I'd really like to know since it'd be nice to know who else is working with them for bloodline exchanges, etc.

At the moment, the only Bradypodions in the US are the last group of B. transvaalense this guy sold. There are some B. thamnobates coming in soon (also getting a pair of those) but Bradypodion are extremely rare here. I'd love to get some B. damaranum and B. pumilum as well.

Very nice Chris, I'm a little jalous about the transvaalense. I hope you'll breed them along the way.

When you like to know more about the Bradypodions just ask, I'll try to help you.

Steven,

You have a couple things I'm jealous of too. Hopefully I'll be able to keep and breed them successfully. Time will tell and I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

I'd love to hear any advice you have on the Bradypodions. I know you've worked with them for a long time and have been pretty successful. Do you do anything differently with your Bradypodion then other chameleons? I'd love to see pics of the enclosures you use for them too.

As would I. It would be very beneficial to us who will be new to these species in a short time:)
