$400ea isnt bad if you look at it that way, many more people pay well above that for panthers...and these are live bearersCmon people lets make it happen.
I'm just now getting exposed to this beautiful species. How come nobody has tried to breed them here?? I see there are different Bradypodion sub-species. $400 for a transvaalense?? If so, put me down.. I'm in..

I think we should start a FB page, that raises money to go towards keeping captive bradypodion lines (preserving nature you know?).
That could solve this problem...

5-7" Total length I believe. I'm sure showjet will pop in w/ the answer. His boy there is 5" total length.

I am reading up on these, there are some pretty interesting articles that include many species of Bradypodion...all of which are beautiful in some way or another. They have completely different needs than a panther or a veiled but it does not look any more "difficult". Hopefully some of the members that keep them will respond.
I would be interested, at some point, with a little more info on their care...but I dont know if I could do a pair at $400ea...
totally worth it though, they are gorgeous! And after what I was reading it seems if we want to keep seeing these little guys we better get to working with them!- Status
