Im not sure if the pumilum have diff color variations based on locale, nothing I have read about at least. I do know that they are one of, of not the largest species of bradypodion.

Are we looking at the same pics?! cuz the pumilum I see in that thread are NEON! as they should be. They have super vivid pinks, blues and greens.

Yeah we are looking at the same ones, and it looks very similar to all others I have seen... Some members including the OP describe the "other form" on the first page. I just didnt want you to think I was making things up or anything..

The transvaalense are the woodbush locale. The thamnobates are the nottingham road locale.

The transvaalense from the original shipments were supposed to be the Soutpansberg locale. Given that the exporter is supposed to be exporting captive bred specimens, I've assumed the shipment he sent to Germany was of the same locale but maybe I'm wrong. That said, I had some animals that were distinctly different within the two original shipments. Given that the exporter was sending adults, including gravid females, I doubt they were captive bred animals and its quite possible that he just collected a bunch of WC animals prior to each shipment and said they were captive produced, so each shipment he sent could have been a different locale.

There is a fynbos and the typical form of B. pumilum with the fynbos form being smaller and more drab in coloration. The typical form of pumilum is among the larger half of the genus, however B. thamnobates, B. damaranum, B. transvaalense, B. occidentale, B. ventrale, B. gutturale, etc., are all larger.

Try a search for Bradypodion, Chris had a thread with some pics and info on his, from back around the time they came in.

Although I would LOVE to see some recent pics if you still have them Chris:D

oh I have looked at all those believe me...I am obsessed! I get excited about things and look out! lol I was hoping for more recent as well...I was just checking out when Cain had them for sale Feb11...I was too scared to even consider it then! This prone to URI/eye infections/abscess with these little guys is scary enough for me!;)

Yeah, Its just a matter of 1) Monitoring your animals well 2) Making sure your cages dry out completely between mistings. 3) Making sure to treat on first sign of any illness.

If this happens and I end up with some...they will be the most monitored, mothered tiny chams EVER! I am thinking I may just have to find a new job so I can work from home...;)

There is a list of people that are 100% in and thats all we want:) Gotta have for sure numbers to get the ball rolling and not waste anyones time.

This is the biggest thing. If you are not 100000000% serious then please do not waste my time. Wasting my time means wasting my suppliers time. He is a very nice guy but I do not want to loose my source trying to set something up for people to back out.

Whoever is interested should PM me and let me know what they are thinking about getting.

Again, I cant get any species any time. The animals come from one person and it just depends what species is dropping clutches and if there are enough animals at the time.

Cain has spoken! This is law. Seriously, everyone don't screw this up for people that seriously do want them. These are not for people that have experience with Panthers and Veiled. Not being mean but this is a big deal for Jared to bring these in.
