Broken screen top..

This morning my cat tried to sit on top of my carge and he pulled the screen from the one side. I've got no idea how to fix it, if it can be fixed, or if i need to throw everything away and order a new cage. I cant seem to gt ahold of anyone at the company to ask if I can buy a replacement top.

Id tie it with fishing line or something. Take a picture we can probably get a better idea to help make a quick fix.

If its a typical screen cage it should not be too difficult to replace the screen. Get a small roll of aluminum screen at home depot and push the spline back into the groove where the old screen was. You dont need to keep too much tension on the screen as you push the spline in. Trim the excess off with a razor knife. You can get a screen roller for a couple bucks at HD as well. You will need to remove the screws from the top panel and lay it on a flat surface before doing any of this.
If the existing screen is not ripped you can probably get that back into the spline groove without having to buy more screen.
