Going out of town for 3 days, had to set up Chinease Mantids and gost mantids as well as stick bugs

For your stick bugs do you grow a rose plant in the terrarium for them?! Those rose buds looked very fresh, as did the leaves. I generally just snip bramble for them once or twice a week. If you do grow the rose bush for them, what kind of lighting do you use?
