i know with chameleon keeping finding good legitimate resources and sites can be difficult.

i was hoping someone could provide good recommendations on where to start research.

i was hired by this woman as a painter. but i gotta tell ya i havent been painting much. the days where its rainy ive been doing landscaping, and she wants to do the paint job right so ive been doing a lot of burning scraping and sanding, but really much of it isnt feasible until she rents a lift.

anyway she wants a pond put in and this is a project im actually looking forward to. and on top of that i get paid for it.

so i know some of you must be able to help me out here. even jodeoh. kelly was telling how you had some gnarly looking koi. you must be worth your metal in advice.

thanks guys

i know we have saltwater enthusiasts. and i know at least one of us is into ponds.

any help mamma jammas?

Go deep. Over filtrate, dont skimp on a pump, nice shovel, lots of water, asper creme, a comb always comes in handy, more water, pond plants, rocks, pond liner, bubble gum and fish. O' and fish food..

That pretty much covers it.

Haha couldn't help it

I did a pond building seminar with Aquascape designs. We built a 3 waterfall pond in a day w/ a lot of people and equipment.

Here is their site:

http://www.aquascapedesigns.com/

They are out of Chicago and do state of the art ponds. They will send you free dvds and tons instructional information.

thanks for the suggestions, lol i could have youtubed that myself.

ive got how to build it now.

now my problem is finding affordable efficient pumps, or kits.

ive had to explain to this woman 20 times now what a heron is. shes a bit senile but very entertaining to talk to. id like to steer her in the right direction as far as what materials pumps/skimmers/liners to use that will be cheap.

any other more specific recommendations?

i knew there was a reason i loved you solid. and i knew it wasnt because of our late night discussions about philosophy and religion. it was because you would eventually link me this.

Lol

I love you too man

I have found that if I want to know more about something, to go straight to the people who have hands on experience with it. ;)
