Bump

[Macy&Pixie the chameleons]

So I got Pixie 11 days ago and she's been warming up to me very well
When I first got her she had a bump on her tail, and she still has it.
I think it might just be a part of her skin when she shed and it just hasn't come off yet.
Is there anything to be worried about?

Hard to tell from the quality of your pics, but my guess would be some sort of trauma happened. Maybe her tail got caught in the enclosure door or a cricket bite. Since it’s such a focused area, I don’t think a burn. You’ll most definitely want to watch and make sure it heals. There’s always risk of infection setting in, which would require a prompt vet visit.

You could put a bit of flamazine, Silver sulfadiazine aka Silvadene or other suitable cream on it to help keep it from getting infected.
