Cactus Chomping?

Hello everyone. So I came home from work a little while ago, and when I went to spray down my cham's cage, I noticed that a beavertail cactus that I normally have in the corner was knocked over. I took it out and examined it, and to my surprise, she had taken some bites out of it! She ate the blooming flower off the top and chomped on the side as well. I had noticed the flower was gone, but I never realised she was eating it until I saw that huge chunk of off the side. I'm just curious, does anyone else have experience with their chams eating cactus?

Cacti store a lot of water in their fleshy "leaves". How often are you misting? Could be she's decided to use it as a water source.

I work quite a bit sometimes, so I mist as often as I can. I mist pretty heavily before I leave, then when I come back. When I notice her urates getting a little off white, I go buy lots of hornworms and supplement a few every day until her urate is back to normal. I'm in the process of looking for a bigger cage/misting set up so as to make it easier on her.
