Yeah I have WC and CB:D I dont know why non of them like it. Yeah just to see repcal taste like culk too.Lol Wow no more for me.

hahaha i was going to say if you try one you have to compare them all! but if they all taste like crap...

maybe sprinkle a bit on a bug and try that? see how the flavors really mingle...heheh.

I haven't tried it myself but I am planning to. My question is ... would you use the same amount for chams that are housed outside, as you would for chams that are housed inside all the time? It seems that if it has the proper amount of D3 for "inside" chams, then it would be too much for the "outside" chams??? I would assume that the same rules apply, as would with any other brand, for Montane species - use very very lightly if at all???

For those that have this product already, is any of this mentioned on the label?

I have tryed it with my chams and my leos. My chams spit the bug back out and my leos went on a hunger strike for like a week because they thought that stuff was on there food:mad:. So its a no go for me I will stick with the old school rep cal:) It works fine for me.

That's funny Tex...mine does the same thing with sticky tongues...LOL:rolleyes:

Thats funny I have a couple chameleons that I have to trick into eating Sticky tongue also lol

These are questions I would love to hear answers to! Hopefully someone will chime in with the answer.

Took me awhile to figure it out and and by that time there was a full on strike of many of my feeders....I waisted about 500 silks and two cups of horns due to the sticky tongues berry flavor.

As far as the Calcium plus I have been using it for about a month and so far like it. I have been working on some issues and so have also been supplementing the supplement but my goal is to only use the calcium plus.

I am really happy to see so many people using it and if there is a problem with it I am sure we will hear about it given the big names using it.

The D3 in it is low enough that if they are getting outside UVB I assume they will just find shade more. I don't think it is at a high enough level to cause any toxicity even with outside kept chams. The problem with Rep-Cal is the dose of D3 is so EXCESSIVELY high that you have to be VERY careful with it.

I was seriously considering switching just this morning so I'm glad to see a post about it. I use rep-cal right now but it has been worrying me because on D3 day it seems like my cham waits until the crickets get most of the dust off before he eats any, so I'm worried that he isn't getting enough.

Since my panther chameleon is kept in a cage outdoors 24/7 and constantly gets natural sunlight will it be harmful to switch to this multivitamin in place of rep-cal calcium w/o d3 and rep-cal multivitamin?

not exactly

i have been keeping my chams outside using the supplement for about two weeks nows , so far so good

it really does seem that the amount in the calcium plus is precisely in the right ranges for it not to be too toxic whether inside or outside, and it is literally desighned to be used at EVERY feeding

but how much you physicallly put on the crix is another fator as well

I raised 5 Ambanjas (4.1) outside using C.P. ICB almost everyday, they were also fed mostly (80-90%) wild insects. They were very colorful and healthy :)

From my understanding uvb doesn't convert to d3 if it's not needed, so just in my head if they're getting a low daily dose of d3 that days uvb (over what is needed) wouldn't be converted to d3 (just my thinking on it).

I haven't used the stuff myself so can't say, I do wonder about montanes as well.

Great news. I may make the switch soon to see how my cham does. It'd be nice to not have to have to worry about a supplement schedule anymore.

Okay.. So I have to say THANKS for posting this Thread!!!! I read it, purchased Repashy and tried it on feeders for the first time today! It coats great, smell so good I wanted to mix it up w/ some water and drink it myself ;). Hoping it will help out some for my guy I'm been trying to nurse back to good health. I'm gonna try out that DinoFuel as well that tkilgour made. I just bought that one as well and thought it wouldn't hurt to try the two of them. Thanks again :D
