Mike keeps telling me to try it out... I've got Gears of War and Halo3 now (still think GoW is a better game)...

this game is awesome. the single player is amazing but the multiplayer is truly its strength.
once you get a feel for it, you will want to play all the time. Since it is the first week, I have experienced some issues finding games. Sounds like the servers aren't up to speed yet.
Anyway, if you use LIVE, send me a friend request. I usually play COD 4, Gears, Battlefield and Halo. Gears multiplayer is definitely the best though.

I've heard that this is absolutely the best game ever if you're into military simulations. I've never been an Xbox fan, but I might have to get it just for COD4 and Ace Combat 6.

I play 360 live but not COD4. I hated the last 3 so this one i am holding out on until teh price is closer to FREE before i buy it. I do play americas Army 2, and Rainbow 6 vegas if you wanna play sometime.

I've got a Gforce 6800GT. Was the top of the line when I bought it and $500 bucks. But it's been a couple of years.

Ok...forgive me for asking.... ..is the Xbox better than the PS3? The PS3 is on sale ($100 off) and I'd also have blueray as an alternative to my hdvd toshiba player. I don't know much about either.

ok the technical answer is YES PS3 is better than Xbox360. HOWEVER xbox has much better games and alot more games made only for the xbox than the PS3. Xbox has better online gaming and more following in masses than the PS3.
The PS3 has better graffix and also has blue-ray for your movies but all in all if you are looking for a better gaming experience the xbox is your best bet. Its cheaper, more games, better games, and better online play.
My vote is for Xbox360.
For all of you "i wonder why they dont make more games for PS3" guys... The typical Video game of todays standards to get from an idea to your home consol will cost the game builders ON AVERAGE $10mill. If that game is not going to a consol that has enough players then there is a loss in $. There have not been enough PS3 consols sold since the day that they were introduced to the market to make it worth any video game builders time to build a specific PS3 game. The PS2 has better sales numbers for profit and more games sold than the PS3. It is simply not worth the game makers time to build a PS3 specific game.
It gets put into a cycle. Peopel dont want to buy a PS3 because there are no games, The game makers dont want to build games because there areant enough PS3's sold. without games there wont be consols sold... its goes in a circle.
Just remember when buying an XBOX360 there is a "RING OF DEATH" that you will more likely get at some point of time. It is where your Xbox fries internally and dies. Microsoft does however replace your xbox for free with free shipping, all you have to do it call them and they will tell you what to do. Within a few weeks you will have a new Xbox at your front door.
