Camiezone babies from Homer and Big Girl

As many dusted crickets as he will eat, twice a day and two super worms. Also two medium horn worms per week. He loves those three options. I’m considering black soldier fly larvae. I place my feeders in a clear Tupperware container and set that back in his branches, under the basking. Bert grabs onto the rim and goes to town. He does not like the green cup at all. Also I think the clear cup lets him see what’s going on from a distance, and draws him to the feeder cup.

what's on the menu? What are ya'll feeding Bart and Bert? I need to develop a new feeding approach. I was using the bird cup but Bolt only eats a few from the cup. Whatever remains in the cup, I free range. He likes to hunt.

Currently I have just roaches, crickets and superworms. I had silkworms last week too. Next week I’m hoping to have (finally!) some bsfl added to the menu and maybe some wax worm treats.

Whoo hoo! Finally! I’ve had a general idea of where Bart sleeps, but haven’t been able to find him. Last night I finally did. Had to move a branch and he started to wake up, so I had PTO grab my pic and get out quick...baby needs his sleep. So precious!

I think I got the wild one. He eats like a monster, basks, patrols, takes a big stinky dump, eats like a monster, and basks again. He thanks me with battle stripes, a gape with a head shake and a red and blue gular projected outward. He gets so angry with me but then lightens up to eat out of my hand. You little stinker! But then he’s a sweet angel with subdued colors in his PJs.

Ohhh wow, he is looking so healthy and beautiful. I'm so happy that he's with you Vicki. He is gonna be one stunner, (ps he already is)
His last brother is off to baltimore on his adventures tomorrow.

I'm sorry Andrew that he's being a little monster. To tame him you can try the most proven success way... Bribe.
Insist he comes n eats out of your hand, if he wants the favorites; silkworms, hornhorms, hoppers, etc.
He'll come around, I'm sure. He looks great, love his pj's, almost like an angel huh. Lol

I just wanted to add I knew what I was getting in to. Chamiezone sent me this pic a few days before she shipped him. I selected him based on this photo because I love a good challenge haha

I was the nearest branch between Bart and his feeders. No hesitation - just climbed on my hand. His new suit is just gorgeous. Pics can’t do him justice.

He’s so beautiful and cute! I can’t count my experience with veiled young ones because of the attitudes, so have no reference point. But…these babies are so well adjusted and it’s almost like there’s no settling in period. @Camiezone certainly has done a fantastic job raising healthy and sweet babies.
