Camiezone babies from Homer and Big Girl

I dont think you need to bury it, since it's already in a cocoon thingy. I just put it in a cage and misted it. A month later it hatched.

You don’t have to bury it. My first time with them I placed them on paper towel and just misted it every now and then. The ones I have now (that haven’t emerged) are just sitting on cocoa coir that I mist. Some emerge and some don’t. I haven’t yet figured out how to increase their success - do they do better with a diapause, hotter temps, etc. Out of 7 crysalises (crysali?) only 2 have emerged.

no  I'm going to give them a couple more nights, if this batch doesn't lay, I don't have to buy Dubia roaches for a while, I can get more Hornworms, and silkworms, and crickets, and grasshoppers.

do you know a trick to get Sherbert to eat crickets?
I wish I had a secret to getting a picky cham to eat. Mango is killing me with his picky appetite. He doesn’t even look at the feeders.

If I want Bolt to eat crickets, I skip a feeding day. That makes him extra hungry. He will eat whatever I offer.

Us having only one cham in the house will stick with dubia, silkworm and grasshoppers. We have ordered 250 crickets and in a week they are all dead. They are in a big plastic bin, eggcrates, with fresh vegies/fruits, cricket crack and heat under the bin, and still they die on us easily. While our hoppers are thriving well, our adults have mated and waiting for them to release eggs. They are so expensive but hoping we can sustain it via breeding and hoping we will be successful with this.
