Ok this is a really nasty question but i just got my first order of silkies and they are pretty big so i was wondering if i could cut it in half and feed it to my boy, I know its disgusting but they are too big for him to eat and i think he'll choke on it

well yeah, I suppose as long as you feed them immediately. If He does not eat them right away I would not leave them laying around dead in the cage or cup though. He probably wont eat them dead anyways. He might if you hold them up and wiggle them around like they are alive.

hes 6 months, he will eat anything that looks like food. I'm talking about a cham that shoots at spiderwebs and almost shoots at bird poop *FACEPALM*, he'll shoot at anything. I'll just give him a live one first then the cut one. (THIS IS SO GROSS)

If hes 6 months he can eat any worm thats like up to 3inches, give or take (unless its a super super fat hornworm)

I've seen some chams eat silkworms that look too big for them. I know as long as its not ridiculously huge it should be fine. Silkworms have very soft bodies and chams can swallow them pretty easy. My female veiled Cham is 11 months and she loves silkworms. I cup feed her and she will eat 2 full grown silkworms at the same time. The silkworms will be really fat and are like 2.5 inches long

Ik he can eat them, but I would like to feed him more than one or two because I ordered alot and dont want them to get too big. I also want to feed him some crickets and supers along with the silks

Ask miss lily, she knows all when it comes to them.

esenntially feed them til the grow, give them places to spin, wait till they emerge as moths, they do the deed, lay eggs, and die.

Haha, well alright then, you make it sound alot easier than i think its going to be :p
