I picked up a year old ch melleri from Kent today. He is just a little guy and is amazing. So far things are going real well for him in his new home. He is joining Mr Ma'am in a pretty large free range. So far it look promising.

Free range size is 6.5' long x 2' wind x 8' high. There is an additional 3 ' on the right side. Two basking area hooked up to mister (2) nozzles.

The first few pictures are them meeting for the first time. The little guy could care less. Mr Ma'am was not too happy. He lightened up real quick. They both split to different sides to bask. As soon as it neared lights out Mr Ma'am made it over to the little guys side. The little guy got as close as he could to Mr Ma'am and settled in. pictured below.

Here are some photo's , enjoy!

That new little guy is a cutie. Looks like they will be friends. Enjoyed your pics.....thanks for sharing. Jann

Wow, incredible and HUGE set-up! That's so weird how even though the little one gets dominated by larger cohorts he still wants to sleep near them. Best of luck with him! Hopefully he'll not be too worried about Mr. Ma'am and start eating all he wants.

Thanks everyone, It would seem last night they could not be close enough
When I woke this morning their faces were touching.

Jay - This setup is in the corner of my bedroom. ::D

That is a sweet setup Ryan. The new guy looks great also. Are those dowls or bamboo? I can't tell.

Looking great Ryan. I'll have to take a few photo's of the free range for our Mellers. It's essentially a 6' shelf that is 2' front to back and has about 4-5' of headroom. I need to lower it some, so I can provide the same plant density you have.

Where are the misting nozzles located in the pic? And also, how do you drain the water?

How well does the bamboo stand up to the weight of the Melleri?

My dowls seem to sag a bit more than I like when my guys are on them. If both get on one of the smaller dowls, it bends so much I'm affraid it's going to break.

The big stuff I use holds up with no issues. The water pretty much rolls off so it doesn't get soft. My one melleri is close to 350-400g and it doesn't budge.

They are located between the two light fixtures on the ceiling. Most of the water is caught by the plants and drainage is caught in cement mixing bins near the bottom of the setup.

DUDE!

You need more Chameleons. I think there's still space in your bathroom. :D

Those are very cool shots. Now free range everyone and you can live in a jungle at your place.

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh :)

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh :) That story about them meeting and waking up with the faces touching is so cute! How much does the little one weigh? That is a great set up for them. It's like living in a palace. Seeing everyone's free range set up is slowly steering me in that direction for my group. They are in quarantine for a while (wild caught). I'd have to wait until I got them parasite free first. Thanks for the cute pictures :)
